Traction Off and ABS indicators still on.

Lurking here awhile and am impressed with know how on this site. Hoping you can shed some light on a problem I am having with my 2007 Cobalt SS. Recently had the SERVICE TRACTION warning with the ABS light on at the same time, this happened about 8 weeks after dealer installed break job. I have checked with a OBD2 code reader but it shows no stored codes. Even after many starts light still on. Also disconnected battery to try and reset, no luck. Only thing not checked are the ABS sensor connections for moisture etc. Any other ideas? Thank You

With no codes, I'd do exactly as you suggested. Unplug each wheel speed sensor and clean the contacts. Fill with dielectric grease and reconnect.

If that doesn't do it, you'll need someone that has a scantool that can watch each wheel in real time.

Well, checked all sensors for damage, corrosion etc. and cleaned, lubricated with di-electric grease. Still no luck. warning lights still on. Also disconnected battery for 30 mins, but it did not reset.
So I guess I'll bit the bullet and have it scanned. Thanx for the ideas.

If the work was done at the dealer, I would take it back to them and make them fix it. They may have damaged one of the speed sensors while they were working on it.

check the hub, rock it up and down, more than likely sensor is out of range
