tune advice and code question

getting my car sorted out, almost done. runs great now except for a few minor issues.

2007 ss/sc lsj

found out a little history on it.

It used to have a stage kit on it. pulley, cai, injectors etc. the guy who owned it, took all the stuff off before he sold it,and put back the stock injectors (green), pulley, (pressed on). he left the cai, but I put the stock one back on.

if he put the stock stuff back on and left the stage tune (not going to assume he tuned back to stock), what issues would I have?

here is what I got.

sometime shifting, when I let off gas and push in the clutch, the rpms raise by 1-2k.

I have a random miss, like a bad plug, but not all the time. If I sit and idle, it does it every minute or so, more so when I am cruising or light acceleration, then its every 15-30 secs. seems to go away at wot. just changed the plugs, no change in miss.

the other thing, every two - 3 weeks I get a code.

p0442 evaporative emissions small leak detected.

I clear it and it stays away for 2-3 weeks.

any way I can check my tune to see if I am stock?

what should I do about it, goto chevy or get a tune from zzp etc?

I have no way to flash the ecu only a code reader and torque app.

if I need to post any other info, just let me know.

almost forgot. when I stop at a light etc, the rpms bounce 1 or 2 times like a dirty TB, but its clean. I cleaned it when I put the stock intake back 1.5 months ago.

It wouldnt run at all if it had a gms2 tune with stock injectors. Someone else will chime in about the evap leak im not familiar with that.

The evap leak is probably causing the miss. The RPM jump is probably a dirty throttle body plate. There is a thread on here somewhere about cleaning it out. When I had my LSJ I would clean out the throttle body plate about once a year or so.

I just cleaned the TB as I said. took it off the SC and cleaned it good with spray and towels. its boucing just like a dirty tb, but instead of hunting for 15 secs it just bounces 1 or two times. I am guessing the same issue is causing the rpm rise when shifting.

Check the vacuum line running from the TB to the brake booster. It likely has a leak, probably near the shift linkages. This will cause throttle hang and sometimes an evap code and even a lean code.
