Urgent: 15-way Adjustable Coilover Adjusting 30-Way now?
Hi guys,
I just had a major oversteer event in my 2006 SS/SC. I went to check the stiffness of the rear coilovers, suspecting they were tighter than the front, and I noticed that the previous 15 damping adjustments clicks 30 times now... WTF.
Is this indicative of an issue?
I can't figure out how this could happen, double-checked, fronts have 15 dampening adjustments and the rears now have 30. Confused.

I double-checked, front adjust 15, rears adjust 30 times it seems, however, this is suppose to be a 15 way adjustable kit:
EZ II Series Coilovers for Chevrolet Cobalt SS 05-10
Please help, I am a bit terrified to drive, but want to know if perhaps the rears are mislabeled? I can't imagine them changing their dampening abilities?

I doubt the shock stiffness made you oversteer.
You probably bottomed out or just have the rear spring sitting too low. You also don't match front and rear stiffness for the sake of having them match. That makes no sense.
They're shocks. They'll work fine.

The biggest issue is they now adjust 30 times in the rear, where they are supposed to be 15 way adjustable.
Moreover, I found the seat collar ring was not tightened down on the seat.. something's wrong..
Anyone else had their 15 way adjustable suspension become more than 15 adjustments? If so, what does this mean?
Thank you!
