Vacuum leak??? P0171 code
Start pinching vacuum lines with your fingers and see if anything changes.
If you have access to HPTuners, open VCM Scanner and connect to the PCM. Enter the area with the icon ON/OFF (the place where you can adjust idle manually) and check commanded idle to actual idle. Also note idle spark at the same time. If either actual idle is higher than commanded or they are the same and you are pulling consistently negative timing at idle, its probably a vacuum leak.
If you are running any open air crankcase breathers, get rid of them. Keep the PCV system closed until the problem is diagnosed.

PCV system is 100% factory. I do have no vac on the hose going to the valve cover, is that normal? I pulled it off, and there was no leak or anything, no airflow from the valve cover nipple and no suction on the hose going to the intake...

You replace the intake manifold gasket with the rebuild,correct.
Check for the O-ring on the dip stick.
Check the hose that goes over the pcm module ,it seems to rub there pretty good.
If you put the stock air box back check the tube going to the airbox where it joins.
If the stock band was cut off you might need to tape it to seal the joint above the maf sensor.

Dipstick seems fine, but I'll check again when I go back up there. Same with that hose, although that I would have heard pretty clearly.
Airbox is in perfect shape, the car had an Injen on it that I took off and installed my old stock airbox, factory clamps and all. No leaks there.

A fuel trim fault may cause default actions such as harsh shifts and illumination of the ABS/TCS indicators
• Test for fuel contamination. Small amounts of water can be delivered to the fuel injectors and cause a lean exhaust indication. A lean exhaust indication can also be caused by too much alcohol in the fuel.
• The system will go lean if an injector is not supplying enough fuel.
• A lean condition could be present during high fuel demand due to a fuel pump that does not pump enough fuel, a plugged fuel filter, or a restricted fuel pipe.
-Observe the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor
- The HO2S for proper installation
• Ensure that the electrical connectors and wires are secured and not contacting the exhaust system.
-The evaporative canister purge pipes for obstructions or plugging

double check the bolts on the exhaust manifold. mine did something quite similar when i put on a temporary manifold so i could port mine out a bit. the bolts came loose causing an air leak before the 02 sensor causing my trims to go nuts and run extremely lean throwing the p0171 code.
Yeah, i'm going up there at some point after the weekend, i'm gonna take a spare O2 and swap it out, and see what i can see. My buddy helping me do the work did the downpipe install, so I didn't really go under the car at all for that part.
ya i would definetly double check the exhaust manifold bolts and maybe even put some medium strength (blue stuff) loctite on it. after i did that to mine everything went back to normal.
