You need to put the stock airbox back on. If you don't have it. Buy one out of a junkyard or something.

They could prove(loosely) that an aftermarket intake caused this if they go into how the maf works and the flow of air around it.

The header and high-flow cat won't be a problem unless the cat got stopped up and created way too much backpressure.

You shouldn't have any problems but PUT YOUR INTAKE BACK TO STOCK. It is very possible that they could use it against you.

Well, dealership just called, They got the okay from GM to start tearing the engin down to see if they need to replace or repair.
Am I out of the woods?

Not yet. They gotta see what is wrong, then determine the cause.

Just pretend like you have never been to the drag strip or ever taken your car over 5K RPMS. If they start saying stuff like, "Wow! Cool car! How fast you had it?" Just say about 70mph.

Yea the service advisors like to try to trick you into saying things about how fast your car goes and stuff, they are some sneaky bastards
