warranty questions 100,000miles not so long...

k so i have a 2007 chevy cobalt LS
the motor is all stock and i've had to have warranty service done to my brakes twice now. rotors resurfaced, now last time they tried to say oh it's only covered under 36,000 miles i said well i have the 100,000 mile warranty the tech tells me thats only limited after 36,000 well at the time i had already had this done once, and i was at 36,565 so after some bitching i got it done under warranty.

so my question is what IS covered after 36,000 under my "100,000" mile warranty...?
because now i have bad sway bar linkages and i want them to be covered, but if GM says it's a no go i want to be able to have some info to back me up.

i appreciate any info you have anything. thanks!

http://www.webbchevy.com/100000-mile-warranty.aspx

here's the only part that might apply to my sway bar linkages, what do you think?
Chevy Drive Systems
Final drive housing, all internal lubricated parts, axle shafts and bearings, constant velocity joints, axle housing, propeller shafts, universal joints, wheel bearings, locking hubs, front differential actuator, supports, front and rear hub bearings, seals and gaskets.

the 100k warranty is a vary "limited" piece.

your sway bar links would not be covered under warranty per the black and white rules...however that should not stop one from taking it to your dealer and asking them to fix it.

if they say no...just do it your self, its not like its a difficult process.

Yeah in all their 2007 advertising, GM never mentioned the 100,000 mile warranty only applied to the powertrain. How many years is the 36,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty?

i think it's still 5 year 36,000 but also 100,000 powertrain.
it's retarded. i already have 40,000 miles. i drive a lot! i should have bought the extended warranty, but i thought **** wouldn't break so easily

Ah, extended warranties are only a way for companies to suck more money out of the consumer, especially if they're from a third party! My aunts kept telling my mom how she should have gotten the extended warranty on her Blazer, so she bought one from Mepco and after paying about $2,500 for five years of coverage, found out that none of the dealers around here deal with them.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...14&catalogid=1
what is the difference between the soft, sport, and performance...?
i'm guessing FE1, FE3, and FE5 if so would the other link's fit...? why the price difference.

Your bumper to bumper is 3/36 , powertrain is 5/100k . Everyone was making such a big deal about the new warranty when it first came out . The difference between a 06 and an 07 is 40k miles of powertrain warranty . A 05 and 06 cobalt has a 5/60k powertrain.
