So, Im sure this is related to the fuel pressure, but im not sure.

Been having some issues lately, thought all was fixed...apparently I was wrong.

Yesterday..car boosted perfect. 0 issues.

Today before going to the pet store before they closed..i increased fuel pressure a bit to get to where I need to be.

Boosted the car...perfect. I was watching the fuel pressure.

So I waited a min, floored it again this time to watch the wideband.

tranny slipped a bit, then the car made a weird noise. Almost like a exhaust pulse noise sorta. Almost like the car studdering, but not quite as this was during decel. Like the engine was "choking on a chicken bone" (says the wife).

I assumed one of my charge pipes popped off, as its made a similar noise before..and that was the issue.

As I got a bit nervous that I blew something, I decided to pull into the parking lot up the road...before I did..I had to give it some gas...Normal.

Decided not to stop i nthe parking lot, and drove to the pet store. Car ran fine. Minimal boost was given, just normal easy driving.

Anything happen to anyone thats somewhat similar? Thanks in advance.

Note: The noise sounded like it was coming from the exhaust and not the engine.

 

Maybe you have something thats seperating or opening up under load due to flexing(engine movement) causing your problem.
Worth a look at all the piping.
