what do you guys think is the problem?

ok.... so i was going to build up my cavi, but due to alot of things going on in mylife, i had to sell off the parts i had and put my project on the back burner for a while....

now that things have settled down, i am going to do a v-8 project instead... so i just bought another 2.2L eco and swapped out the busted motor.

now here is my problem:

i swapped the old motor out and the new one is set, but i can get any fuel to it. the fuel pump does not even prime. the dash lights up light a x-mas tree with all the service lights it can and the thieft light is even on. when i try to start it a couple of times then stop, where it tells the milage it says error. i have called 9 diff dealership service deps and i have been told three diff things. 1. my pcm needs to be reflashed 2. my fuel pump is bad 3. my anti-theft system is keeping my car from firing over....

what do you guys think it could be?

I don't know enough about the Passlock, but I'd say if wiring isn't it that that would be your next thing to look at.

check and see if it's the fuel pump first, bang the bottom of the fuel pump hard with a hammer or something while someone tries and starts the car... if it turns on, it's the fuel pump...

If not, it's probably a more serious problem.

yea check the fuel pump when you turn the key to the car you can actually just hear the pump pumping fuel, it sounds like a faint buzzing sound if you dont hear that then the pump isnt working properly

the pump does not prime at all. i tryed to listen for it when i we tryed starting the new motor.

i need to to check the wiring on the main harness....the one that spiders from the injectors all the way down the block.

Are you using the pcm from the car you put the motor in or the one from the motor.

If its the one from the motor your pass lock has to be reprogramed.

If its the one from the car you put the motor in you need to do a case relearn which has to be done by the dealer with a tech 2.

These would be my guess !
