Where is this rust coming from?

I just recently noticed some rust colored material on part of my door hinge and its driving me nuts, I can't locate the source, could it be inside the door? My warranty is up in less that 100 km, so i guess i will be booking into the dealership asap. What do you all think?

Take it to the dealer asap. A car as young as ours should not be expierencing rust yet.

That is a door check, not a hinge. Put a little spray lubricant on it and you should be good to go. If you take it back to the dealer, they will likely do the the same thing.

Gave all the stuff that catches the weather a coating with a can of rust check from Crap Tire in the fall.
Salt and dampness are killers for any car.

Don't listen to anyone else. The hinge is done and the rubber seal is also clearly done. IT IS COVERED under warranty. Tell them to replace the hinge and seal. They did it for me... Watch out everyone else!

Umm .. hate to bug on your post .. but that is not a hinge .. that is the door check that keeps the door from opening too far.
