WTF Plug Gap
I just replaced the stock plugs with a new set of the BKR7Es gapped to .04 in an attempt to smooth out a somewhat sporadically rough idle. Runs smooth as silk now. HOWEVER, I wanted to compare the gap on what I put in with the gap on the stockers....
THEY WERE ALL DIFFERENT
The stock plugs were gapped to .04, .037, .035, and .034
wtf fail
Anybody else have this happen?

As plugs wear the gap changes. Most of the time this results in gap erosion (larger gap than stock) but sometimes the gap can decrease as well. each cylinder is always slightly different. We're talking about thousanths of an inch here.
I've never changed plugs on a car and had all the old plugs gap out the same.
