Any kind of aggressive compound. I would suggest taping the area around it off just to prevent any kind of damage.

Compound
Polish
Wax

ok well i have rubbing compound, ive just never doen anything like this. like i said, its all just on the trunk (i was stupid and thought it would be good to use it for my new spoiler which i have now removed)... should i just try to repair the whole trunklid? i was thinking of removing the badges from the back too and this would be a good time for that. or do u guys think since im inexperienced i should just take it to a professional detailer...

I had epoxy resin on my trunk before and removed it with my rotary buffer. So I would take it to a pro and see what they can do for you.
