Water Spot help!
Well I moved back into an apartment to save for a house And last night was the 1st night to stay there. I go to my car to come to work this morning and low and behold Friggin water spots from the sprinkler. Besides buffing will any thing else maybe a clay bar take off the spots?

where u gettin the flux capacitor?..i want one....but back to the topic, i kno if you wipe them with a wet chamois that helps but the only thing i kno for sure is that you have to rewash it an redry it completely off...if you have a sprinkler near your car i'd suggest a car cover

If it's otherwise clean and has fairly fresh wax, use Mother's Showtime. I think that's the name of it, it comes with the clay bar kit, but it's a quick spray detailer you can buy seperately. To get rid of waterspots what I do is spray it on a foam applicator, wipe a small section <like half the hood>, and immediately wipe it dry with a microfiber cloth....don't let the stuff dry/evaporate on it's own or you'll have to do it over. Looks great and helps to keep from rewaxing so often. Don't use on glass.

I use Windex whipes and a terry clothe if I get bad spots in my car then take my TurboWax Spray-N-Wax and do a quick coat, but since I switched to TurboWax water spots realy arn't a problem anymore.

i have a feeling he's talking about when the water spot basically gets baked onto the paint from the hot sun. its a different problem than rain spots, because when it rains, the sun is normally not shining.
i would try a good POWER wash (beware of anychips in the paint, as this will make them bigger if your not careful) and a clay bar, and go from there. DO NOT wax the car! they'll be there for a long time if u do that.
