I think I need to pony up & get some acetylene, or at least CO2 and some different wire, becasue the current setup (although it works) is messy...

I haven't been able to run the GA a single time this year... that sirs (and lady) is killing me....

Although I agree with you, you've heard about the trifecta "hidden" tune right?

if not, you might want to look it up here - sounds like it's pretty fail-safe... but the only way of zero risk, is to have a gm tune - that is 100% correct.

 

Ya I have heard it.. But I also read somewhere (no idea where) that GM was updating their flash pac or something... and the trifecta was on that... Gotta look a little more into that though

they are still using a digital camera to snap a picture of the run file ID code - and emailng that digital picture of the code to GM for verification...

iirc, some dealers are on the new global system, which null & voids the need for emailng a digital picture, but as I've understood it's still a visual ID code cross reference that takes place...

But if you doubted me you wouldn't be the first, I subscribed to a great thread where member here have gone a step further to being paranoid that the dealer will be able to tell that the ECM has been swapped at any time...

yup.. need a couple parts, but it wasnt overly nice to get them from the junkyard over my vacation last week... plus i need my buddies help (beretta MASTER, seriously...)

im just gonna see if anyone has them on my beretta site that i could jus buy from them.. haha my parts car is gonna get donated pretty quick and then ill have room to work on it some more..

the WHOLE interior is out.. just swapping out the shifter assembly/cables... have to salvage the clutch pedal and cables from the parts car before the kidney foundation comes to install that.. then drop the frame and pull the auto tranny out, put the 5spd in... need to get new CV axles (but the reman'd ones break super easy apparently, so i need to salvage them off a different car.. (parts car maybe..) then she goes in for body work and paint... ive been procrastinating this summer, so it looks like im gonna need a heater for my garage so i can work when its cold... i wanna bomb around in this next summer

then the turbo kit goes on
