9-3 aero 2.0t saab tranny in cobalt ss 2.0t????
I have had this discussion with a few buddies but I haven’t really looked into it.
I have an 08 cobalt SS 2.0t and I need a new transmission. I’ve been trying to pick up an LSD
transmission but they are a little pricey and I’ve wanted to find out if it is possible to swap the
Saab 6 speed transmission from a 9-3 aero 2.0t 6 speed into a 2008 cobalt SS 2.0t.

No problem i paid 500 for my trans if I remember correctly and the f40 kit was sound 2k so around 2.5k or more for that swap to happen and that's considering you have all the tools to do it. A used lsd trans will run you maybe $700-1000 depends on the miles

I was talking to a dude about the gearing and he sent me but i cant find it no more for some reason the gearing is close to saab and I think the buick might have a slightly longer gearing in 3rd 4th 5th iirc
