IDK it seems this guy is so broke he can't even pay attention. Let alone understand sarcasm.
We are all having bad times, but why be a sore loser because you had f'd up and had to get rid of your car and buy a POS your not happy with. Then lie to yourself and tell everyone it's a beast.
**** on my face, but don't tell me it's chocolate.

i am sure some are sarcasitc, but just I have no doubt that some here think that cobalts, no matter what model, are the best car out there... .
I've received the attitude while keeping any eye out for na 08+ SS;
I was flat out told that pretty much any cobalt was better than the GM FWD car I was DD'ing at the time...

I had always liked the Cobalt (moreover the SS), but not interested enough to take on debt for a car that was slower (2.2L), around as fast (2.4L stock to my car stock), and even though the SS/SC may be faster (depending on car/driver) I was not interested in one of them either.
Here's one of the mouthy kids who flat out said he was faster than my Grand Am;
nuff said!?
I'm a musclecar guy at heart, but decided years ago that I was going to do the fwd/4cylinder DD thing, to save on gas money, and save wear & tear on a 40(+/-)yo car...

That is because most of the kids driving Cobalts these days have never heard of the LG0 or W41 Quad 4 engine. Hell, had I not driven a 95GA for a few years, I would've probably never heard of it either. Most people think of the LD9/L61/LA1 engines when they think of the last Generation N-Body vehicles. Most of them don't really remember the pre 1998 Grand Am's all that well.

actually I'm pretty sure I was the only one happy afterwards - one of them (the white car owner) is still pissed about me killing him three times in a row.
I was joust pointing out that even though this is a cobalt site (like some others - one of which most of this happened on) some people think what they have is better, for little to no reason...
the only things that (I can think of at the moment which) bug me about this car are:
- abundant hard plastic surfaces (in the GA you have to look for them because most are vinyl covered)
- stupid "auto lights" that screw with my RPD
- having to manually turn off traction control on every start up (would be better if it was a toggle switch or something)
- ecm limiting power in 1st gear
As much as I like this car, the GA is still a blast to drive...

And IDK the Atom would prolly will run cooler this way no overheating the ECM and you won't loose those 20HP.
Don't forget the Atom proc can handle up to 100 JiggaWatts, the 8088 only 40.
