It prevents people who dont want to see something from seeing it, while still allowing it to be discussed. therefore people cant complain when they see something they dont like, because they will of have had to manually click to view it.

 

It won't work cause even though its "hidden" all they have to do is click on it to see it, so they can still complain. If you don't want certain people to see what you post, you probably should not post it then. Good idea though.

 

This is probably the most useless/pointless thing I've heard in a long time....

 

no they cant complain about it, unless they deliberately look at it, so if they are talking about racing, it will say "contains race story" and if you dont believe in that stuff, dont click it.

MOST forums have this feature already. This is the most basic forum I have ever been to. MOST forums give you avatars and titles for free, MOST forums have a bigger smilie pit, and MOST forums have a lot of post options "spoiler hiders, picture embedders, different forum styles, etc.

All im saying is update this sum bitch, and bring it out of the stone age.

 

Maybe they don't even want to read anything at all to do with it.
It is stupid just take off the recent threads on the homepage and make people look for what they want to see..
