No boost

Yesterday I I was driving the car and well I shifted from first to second and the car fell flat on it's face. The rpm gauge wasnt working but the car was still able to run. The check engine light came on after I got home. I woke in the morning and it worked fine but no boost. I got the engine light checked it was the camshaft sensor malefaction. I changed that so that the car would run better which it does but I still am not receiving my boost. The gauge is movir like it would normally but just not receiving it. Do I have to reset my PCM cause it could still be in limp mode. If so how do I do it? Any suggestions would be helpful.
