dumb idea, its a free speaking forum, we've all street raced in our lives at some point. Why take something away that adds to what our forum is all about...kicking ass in cobalts.

No its not. Jonnel owns this form and hhr.net. He pays the fees to keep us up. This is not a democracy. What he and the mods say goes.

The info for the war forum states "cobaltss does not condone or support street racing, keep it on the track"

if that doesnt slap a big waste of time sticker on this thread, than I dont know what will.

That defeats your whole argument.

It doesnt matter. Its still there and it gives this site a bad name.
If you people must keep it move it to the dungeon atleast. Then it wont come up on google searches atleast.

Ehh, we should allow whatever do be discussed but just take away the recent threads on the home page. That way you have to look for what you want and people will stop whining.

If that were true, then we wouldn't have a War Stories section that allowed street racing threads. That is that Admin's way of saying "I'm not responsible for what gets posted here" band-aid that is supposed to make things ok...

That fact that someone says it on this website does not mean that the owner or the mods condone it, any more than when someone talks about doing anything else illegal here.

I vote yes but you do know that it is stated they want the races at the track. And if they removed it then the "war Stories" would be posted in off topic section....lol

this is the only forum i visit out of 10 that has a "war stories" section. all the other ones matured phased it out as the site matured. i don't see that happening here. instead, i see this site breaking down the "war stories" section into makes and models.

youre the mod, you know more about this site than we do. You may not be right, but whatever, jonyy felt you were good enough I guess.

Im more or less talking about how all of a sudden a bunch of people grew a pair ever since you HAD to start that politics thread, and now they think their opinion actually matters.

This is all your fault reign, and you deserve to have infractions laid upon you for starting a forum wide war against freedom of speech.

Yes I realize that streetracing is illegal and when there are crashes sometimes people get hurt or die.. but You may not believe this but people crash and die or get injured at NHRA tracks all the time.. Alot of people say its illegal..thats true..but so is driving 57mph in a 55mhp zone or not coming to a complete stop and a "STOP" sign or turning without using a signal..or spinning a tire (illegal takeoff) when pulling out from a stop light.. no one here can say that they have never done any of these things.. I would say streetracing is someones choice, I dont recommend it or endorse streetracing, but if someone wants to talk about it on the internet its fine with me..

When I was younger and people would race fast cars (12 seconds or better) or motorcycles at night they would line up side by side on a 4 lane road and stop at a green light wait until the light turned red and went...These cars has 2.0 or better 60 foot times..so they were through the intersection before the the oncoming traffic would let off there brake to accelerate.. I never raced like that nore do i recommend it..lol

...Are you kidding me? This topic has been debated multiple times before this thread, you can blame me if you want but this has been going on since long before you became a member here.

I never once said politics was bad, I said it's not something that belongs on a car forum with a bunch of immature children who can't have debates without resorting to being petty, going off topic, or just plain getting out of hand. You want to express your feelings about politics do it on a political forum.

i've been talking about banning it for years. this thread won't do anything. we've had some heated discussions in the past about this in the lounge and admin/mod section. quantity>quality seems to be the motto around here.

No one is going to ban you if you choose to debate like a mature adult and not resort to insults...
