is ecotecforum any lesser of a forum because they banned street racing?

 

so a car aimed at young people wont attract immaturity? its going to happen especially with the target group, its almost to the point of if you left other forums because of it, why stick around this one?

ok i have a few questions what bad rep does this forum have. all i hear you guys talking about is how immature we are for discussing street raceing, and how it give's our site a bad name. So that automatically means we have to conform and be like every other forum that doesnt talk about street raceing. i understand some of you guys are annoyed that the politics thing got baned i agree that sucks and i def dont think that war stories should be banned bc you guys got your panties in a bunch. i belong to a few other forums and i ave never once seen a thread CSS . net is so immature they street race lets make fun of them, like seriously. the car is geared toward younger kids and guess what young kids do stupid things street raceing is one of them not letting them talk about it isnt gonna change anything. what about all the are you drunk yet threads, to me thats alot more immature then streetraceing IMO

but we are the site we are because of all the open discussions we USED to have. once we got the ball rolling it was just a matter of time befor the site can sustain itself with out the **** or streetracing. i just think that if we keep banning things its just gona ruin everying. leave things the way they are.

its all about image here, but yet we have at least 20 members signing up here every day, and on other forums i have not seen 1 thing bad about css. so i dont know what image we have, if the image of the forum was bad wouldnt people stop signing up? lol

thats what i dont get from what i can tell our image is pretty good. ok we want to stop punk kids from comeing in here but its a site dedicated to a car that now has a turbo which will attract alot more idiots. most of the idiots who sign up here are flamed out long befor they get to talk about there street raceing

scion's whole marketing is aimed for young kids and they were able to mature out of the whole "2f2f" stories in their forums.

I don't want it gone just because I have to clean it up... Yes, that is part of my reasoning, but I still don't agree with discussing street racing openly and bragging about it on the internet.

All the Mods receive an email every time someone reports a post, and alot of those reported posts come from the War Stories street racing arguments.

 

i would take great pride as a moderator of this site...you would be banned in no time.
