I voted no. It's an interesting read a lot of the time.
*Not having read other posts here is my opinion*
Although street racing is illegal, CobaltSS.net clearly states that they do not support, endorse, or encourage street racing. But it is something that takes place.
One other thing that if it was taking place I would say "ok, time to pull the plug" is if street races were being set up and organized here. I'm sure it's probably happened, if not here than in other forums also. But personally, I've never seen that here or elsewhere on forums. Not to the extent of Dates and locations. I've heard the occasional "if you are ever in _______, hit me up"
But talking of experiences... hey, no biggie.
I hear WAY more crap happening from drunks than racing. Or old ladies mistaking the gas for the brakes.
Not to mention the other crap that ever happens to people...
Quick Edit: For those against the War Stories forum; Should War Stories remain, just don't go there. Street races will still take place and I'm more than positive a good number will involve a Cobalt. People that go to that forum know what it's about.
That's all my opinion though... carry on!

As far as war stories go, pick your panties out of your crack and suck it up or simply make a rule that you can't post anything about street racing period. Better yet why not just make a rule that people can only use the site to say hello or goodbye and restrict all topics to pretty pink fuzzy bunnies...

sure street racing is illegal....but its still gonna happen no matter what...and a lot of stories are from the street like stoplight to stoplight...running on the highway...i really think its not a big deal to do it....only the stupid ones are dumb enough to get hurt/killed

I wish I hadn't set up Outlook to auto delete e-mails. I'm going on a search and retrieve mission. About 6 months ago, someone e-mailed me a link from TCL asking if I knew the "douchbag" they were talking about. The thread linked back to CSS.net to a post in the war stories section about a guy in Florida (for the older members this was the same guy that claimed his cousin's SS got stolen and driven in the lake, sat in the lake fully submerged for like 4 hours and the engine was still running perfectly when they pulled it out) and some of his street racing threads. The other was from a (of all things) Civic owner friend of mine telling me he saw a few videos of some jackass claiming to be from css.net street racing and acting like a total tool and what forum would allow someone like that to post **** on it. That one belonged to HackAbuse.

STREET RACING IS BLOWN WAY OUT OF PROPORTION
its not that big of a deal, its the ******** that do more than race, the ones that weave in and out of traffic at speeds of 150+ and are racing from a point to point
the people that just do a few runs from 50-140 or so WITH NO TRAFFIC AND IN A STRAIGHT LINE and they shut down after the run are the ones that pay for the ******** that do Fast and the Furious **** on the road
DONT GET ME WRONG FAST AND THE FURIOUS IS BAD ASS, but its not realistic
