I just had an idea so I decided to post it on here. Since we've been getting pissed off users that decide to post random and odd things. I think that the thread starter should be able to delete posts (in their own thread). This would save the moderators time and effort. What do you guys think? Not sure how it would work. Just thought it would be a nice suggestion.

 

its kind of a good idea, but it wont happen. this post deleting power could be used for good, or evil mauhahah

 

I was thinking something like that too. If we each had that power people would abuse it. If you didn't like someone, for example, you could delete their posts from your thread just to screw with them. But it would be nice to dump a troll post.

I guess for now we will just have to live with the "Report Post" button and feel sorry for the overworked moderators!

I think there should actually be a few more moderators

 

There should be moderators for each section of the forums.

 

Thanks for the idea. Such a thing would allow anybody that makes a thread to selectively decide who could post in their own threads. That's kind of a discriminatory thing.
