Yeah, and a buddy of mine who had an alternator go bad and got a rebuilt, had the pulley fall off. I guess either there is some trick to it or you need some massive tools. I will get one to this shop I use one day, if it can be done they will do it for me, all they do is starters/alternators, and they can rewind alternators to get more amps out of them and all other tricky ****.
