any ideas for next saturday???
any ideas for next saturday???
just trying to get in touch with the ss and redline peeps in dfw.
where are yall wanting to meet this saturday? i talked to japeater and i suggested to him maybe somewhere in arlington or gp so it could be a central area for everybody to drive.
i know arlington has plenty of places to eat and hang like hooters and stuff. j gilligans is a cool college hang out over off of cooper by UTA, chicks out the ass there. but it might be too packed on a saturday night. i know a lot of good hang outs in ft worth but id rather make it a fair drive for everybody that wants to hang out.
ive met some people here on my end that want to hang but they feel denton and dallas are kind of outta the way. let me know what yall think and get back to me or call me

I live in the crappy town of Irving, its dry here, the cops roam around like the Red Army (was pulled over for not turning on my blinker even though I was the only one on the road), and there are NO good bars, maybe a few decent restaurants. Fort Worth has some decent night life around the TCU area but I know that's somewhat of a ways for some people. I say meet up somewhere for food and drink maybe, then troll around for some rice.
Also, Cole what happened? I was ready to swap your intercooler wires last weekend, may make a difference in your 1/8 runs and getting under 10 seconds. Best way to check if they're wired wrong, pop the hood and check the reservoir to see if your coolant is circulating. I'll look for a picture of which container should be bubbling.
If you don't see the coolant bubbling in here then the wires are definitely reversed. Also something for the Cobalt guys to check even though they claim they figured out how to wire them correctly after a FEW YEARS..........

actually coolant bubling is a sign of air in the system ie a leak or pressure loss
the surge tank you see is for when it gets too hot, like the coolant resivior for the radiator
you need to check the continuity and polarity of the wires, a test light or multimeter is what u are seeking

well bubbling is probably the wrong term, but there needs to appear to be some flow. I disconnected the coolant connector and it just sat there. After I reconnected it started flowin again. I did check the polarity with a multimeter and it was wired correctly after I performed the swap.
