hows it going my fellow Texas Cobalt owners. I was wondering what are yalls opinions on having a big meet for every cobalt owner here in TX. Possibly the last Saturday of February. I was thinking we have it in New Braunfels at Landa Park. So if yall like the plan or have your own opinion please post.

haha I wish I would have seen this thread before i posted that new topic. But yeah edit me in there cause I will be there as long it is on a weekend. But be sure to notify the local police cause we dont want the party to get busted too early hahahaha.

 

don't worry about the police we can rent a pavillion for the day I can use my money and when everyone gets there they can give me there share of the bill. How does that sound?
Plus its at a park I don't think they will kick us out as long as we don't do donuts or drag in the park lol anyways we can make some BBQ or whatever. I think it would be lots of fun.

I was thinking maybe we can have the meet at the dealership I can go drive up to the dealership in New Braunfels and talk to the big cheese and see what he says. Give your opinion on where yall would want the meet. either the park or the dealership

 

you can add me to the list... i have no clue where landa park is or the chevy dealership but im up for it....

 

well when I find out if the dealership will let us have the meet there I will email everyone thats going the address and yall can put it into mapquest.com and get directions.

 

im down, just get a for sure date, and make sure its gonna be worth the drive for me. wouldnt want it to get broken up and have to drive the 4 hrs back right when i get there...

 

what about srt4's? i know a few....like 10 that would be up for a road trip

Alright lets finalize this its gonna be on February 25th the last Saturday of the month, I guess we should plan to where everyone will get there at noon, and I guess leave when ever everyone plans on leaving.

Lets make it all Cobalts, SRT4's, and cavaliers the more the merrier. NO IMPORTS OR ANY OTHER TYPES OF CARS!!!!!!

Like I said you can definately count me in. Did you find a dealer yet?

 

Also if we are bringing the SRT-4s with us it might be better to do it in the park. I dont think a Chevy dealer will be happy with a bunch of Dodges' there.

 

yeah I think we should just have it at the park. Plus if we rent a pavilion would anyone be willing to help out with the bill so that way local PD won't kick us out but I'm sure if we let them know whats going on they should leave us alone. I'm gonna make a trip to New Braunfels and talk with management and the PD to see what they say.

 

Landa park is nice. But I'll be deployed then, so I'll be a no show. The only place to park a lot of cars is by the pool. Or by the river side. Damn why the end of Feburary?
