the reason for the payment is so that park PD or whatever won't kick us out. We can go and not pay but thats a risk we can take with out getting kicked out. Tomorrow I shall go to New Braunfels and talk not only to the park but multiple businesses.

 

I'm also gonna see if Modern Performance will go to the meet also and see if they would raffle some parts off. I'm sure they will. Like I said I'll go to New Braunfels tomorrow and talk to some businesses there and see if they would let us hang out in there parking lot.

Ok we have a problem I just got home from New Braunfels a little while ago. I talked to the park management and asked them about reserving. They said "honestly there is no way you can have a meet of this size. and for us to try some local businesses. So I drove around and I found this shopping center called MarketPlace. Me and my friend stopped and we talked to management. Everything sounded good and she said in order for them to allow us to have it we would need to write it down in writing and show them whats gonna happen and what we are gonna have. So I plan on having us park there in a designated area marked off by cones. We have enough room for about 70-80 cars. Plus a couple of vendors. Like Modern Performance, and a concession stand my friends dad is gonna run, possibly gonna have sodas, and beef fajita tacos not sure. Totally up to him though. Anyways back to the meet.... well thats basically it. I've been driving around San Antonio also and talking to some places but most of the places said "HELL NO" lol. Also if we do have it at the Market Place we would have to pay for reserving a part of the parking lot. Oh yeah depending on the type of crowd we will have trophies.

P.S. If they allow us to have it at this one shopping center(MarketPlace in New Braunfels) The fee to put your car in the show will be very cheap.

There is Carboy in Houston that cators to sport compact cars, although they have a very very small parking lot...

I'm still going. I've just been watching the thread pan out for some hard plans. I didn't care to post too much for the fact I don't have much to contribute from up here. I didn't want to congest this thread with my usual chat room rhetoric.

Although I think we should recognize Dragonfire, TxLonghorn, Tofu, and the go between for the SRT's (even though they may be a no showj/k) for trying to get all this together. I wish I could've done more than the bump on a log routine.

If anyone is willing to come all the way up to DFW I'm positive, with the small group we have here locally, that we can put something together for the next meet.

Ok whats the details on this meet (when, where)? I broke my foot and got bumped off of my deployment. I would like to see if I can make this meet. Maybe even drag a few friends with me.

 

well the meet is gonna be on Feb. 25th at noon either gonna meet at Market Place, which is a shopping center or landa park. If we get permission from Market Place we will hang out there. So Self if you gonna have friends tag along are they gonna bring any other SRT4's, cobalts, any other domestic? The reason is so when I go present this I can give them somewhat of an exact number.

 

The guys in our crew are always changing their minds. But at the most I know that two will come with me. I just have to see if I will have an empty schedule. I will let you know though. Its really unsure with a broken right foot and driving 250 miles, LOL.
