Just wondering this is an idea I came up with just because of parking reasons. I was thinking what if we meet at crossroads mall here in San Antonio the only reason why I say this is cuz of parking reasons cuz I know like someone said once that the last time they had a meet there, there was no parking. So just think about it and let me know what yall think.

 

which one is Crossroads? The one at 1604 and 35?

 

crossroads is at 410 and I10 it was just an idea or we can have it at that one to but yet again its just an idea.

 

I figure we have this meet at the park in new braunfels then we can plan a bigger better meet for some time in July. That way we can find somewhere to have it and so we can contact manufacturers (RK Sports, Injen, and other aftermarket companys) and see if they would come out and be vendors and actually charge people to get in so we can pay the place that we rent out.

 

I'm interested in going, what exactly is the game plan for the meet? Sounds like people are going to a track?

Sorry about the hold up I've been very busy lately but, here is whats going on. I think this would be better cuz it will give people the incintive to stay all day. We might change the date and place of the meet. The place will be Modern Performance(MP) in Houston. The date will be changed to March 4th instead of Feb. 25th. Now the reason why I say it would be better cuz if I'm correct MP has a dyno and I'm sure they will give us good prices for some runs on it for who ever wants. Plus I was talking to them about raffling off parts. I'm still waiting for them to respond so I will let yall know what they say. So we will see what happens. Whos still down for the meet if it moves to Houston?

 

Now that's what I'm talking about. I'm down for where ever, I always enjoy a road trip.

 

If tis move to houston, I can't make it. I already have plans set for feb 25, and march I have things planned too.

 

I will keep yall updated hopefully I hear something soon from Modern Performance. So we can finalize the date and place.

 

Modern does not have a dyno FYI, they use a shop down the road from them called car-boy.

I would for sure go if it was in Houston, and a pretty good possibility if it's in New Braunfels.

After reading Tufo's message, I decided to help you out since Modern Performance doesn't "have a dyno". So I did a "google" search for you. Go to this website:
http://www.af1racing.com/ They supposably have a dyno, but I don't know if we can use it (it's for motorcycle's). I gave them a call (around 9am today)but nobody answered. Maybe you can call them.....oh yeah, this place is located in New Braunfels!! I don't think the date and place nor the time, should be changed. I think a lot of people are set for the 25th in New Braunfels....like me (and all the other 30-40 poeple coming). I thought you had this set-in-stone!!!! So don't change it now!!!

 

it was just an idea maybe we can do that next time we have a meet. Maybe they will go to the meet and raffle off some parts to give people a reason to stay. The thing is though in order to reserve a spot at the park I would have to pay up front and I don't have a way to pay up front. So if anybody that has a way to pay either it be credit card or please contact me I would appreciate it. Plus when we meet we can figure out how much every person owes the person who paid up front. I would pay for the bill no questions asked but all my credit cards are maxed lol. Also the dyno machine they use is for bikes only so thats out of the question lol gotta go Sears guy is coming to fix my washing machine. Well how much is it? We can start sending the money via pay pal or something. Plus that will be like a reservation list. We can all support for a few bucks. If everyone throws in a set amount, whatever is left over can be put towards food or "door prizes".
