Im back from mexico!!!

well sorry for the hiatus but my wife and i went to Playa del Carmen, mexico to have a wedding ceremony w/ family and honeymoon following

12 days off were nice and really allowed me to focus priorities of family and bills and such
went great with only a lost wallet at the DFW airport to mar the trip we did great

quick run down:
married on the beach with 37 friends and family present(flew into mex) followed by aircraft flyby with luv banners streaming, mayan ruin/temples, atv, explored the jungle, played with some wildlife, swim up bars, all inclusive, got drunk, got into a fight with inlaws followed by policia, danced, drank, bartered, cave diving, swiming in cenotes(underground rivers), drank, hankypanky, drank, mas tequila, followed by more drinking, saw a show, saw the filming of a movie on the beach and armwrestled one of the actors HUGO, drank, fell in love on the beach, drank, sunburned, went home.
pictures to follow in a few days or so

my car was thankfully babysat by Brian(SScartuning) who is still getting the details on the tune worked out with my wideband for reference.

so catch me up on the details while i was gone...

Congratulations

I personally dont recommend taking holidays in resorts, where if you walk for 5 minutes from the "tourist" area.....youll get your throat slit with a rusty machete.....
3rd world tourist resorts FTL IMO.

I've been to many third world countries and haven't had any problems. They are actually really nice in comparison. There are places to avoid, in any city.

well all inclusive is where it is at... would go again to the Iberostar resort we were at
had a few singles with us and they faired well
also i spent considerable amount of time off resort and was in no danger but i could see how young impressionable minds could get lured into situations after bar hours

the jungle was cool and being the reptile guy i am didnt hesitate to pick up a coral snake in the wild, tarantula in a rock formation, as well as many iguanas and lizards

machetes are no match for the policia with machine guns and flak jackets, that were quick to pull me off some inlaws that wanted to talk, but we wont go there
