Need some help guys!

im 19..almost 20, i have been out of work for almost a year now (i spent most of it in school) and am now looking for a full-time / part-time job and its proving to be difficult because i don't have a whole lot of experience and it seems like nobody is willing to take a chance on me and let me prove that i can pick things up quickly. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great...i really don't care what kind of job it is, but i would really love to work with cars. the only formal experience i have is as a machinist for 6 months...but i know allot about cars, computers, and other electronics...i just don't have the little pieces of paper to back it up. any help would be great.

My first real job came when I asked a guy from my church if there were any positions open at the company that he worked at. He was able to put me in contact with someone there who had one open. Long story short, I was still in college with no real working background, and I got a job as a lab tech at $14.00/hour! You should just ask your friends or friends of your parents if they know of any job openings at their place of employment; it always helps to have someone who is already there as a reference. Hope things work out for you!
