Well bought Frogstofall's BNR set up it will be here tomorrow. Also got a great deal on some H & R springs and they should be here soon. Sigh wife is probably going to **** a brick since it is her Birthday next week but I have been gradually making it better. Spent $100 on her a pedicure and facial for last week, this week bought here some more diamond earrings, and next week for her birthday she will get her Saints tickets with her expensive ass cake. So she better be happy lol ( I know I will when my **** gets in ha ha)

Well I almost bought my HHR SS back but then decided against it and bought a new 2012 Subaru Impreza 5 door Limited Sport (loaded, leather, etc, etc.), yes the wife still has the Prius also. I needed something that got great gas mileage 36/28 and the AWD was a deciding factor since I work 45 min away (roughly 37 miles one way) and over the mountain (winter time).

My HHR SS is listed for $17k with only 18k miles on it. I'm pretty sure they don't know it has a Spec 3+ clutch and upgraded intercooler in it. It was hard to pass up, but I'm thinking of the bigger picture here. Once I get a PE teaching job closer I can trade in the Subaru for something I really want or give it to my daughter in 3 years to drive or the wife can give her the Prius and she can have it.

Any how I still got my project van, it runs and runs good (crappy gas mileage of course) but I want more so I'm going to do an Evo 3 ECU swap into it. New goal is going to be 500 awhp. Now to find time to do anything with it, working and coaching football leaves me with nadda for time.

From what I remember from the guy I talked with, the Subaru dealer in Huntsville is the #1 Subaru service department in North America.

This car is temporary, I need it for the AWD and gas mileage. Once i get a fulltime PE job, it will either get traded or given to my daughter (if she don't want the Prius). Then one will get traded in for something I really want.

I'd just get the Injen upper... there is really nothing to be gained from the lower... just make sure you get the direct path one and one not that hooks around the engine... Injen is a direct path kit

and i'd just get the ZZP intercooler... I didn't like the finish on their IC piping, looks like trash

http://www.autoanything.com/air-inta...A2583A0A0.aspx

$212 through Autoanything for the IC piping with free shipping... I remember getting that kit on sale for $175 shipped...

http://shop.zzperformance.com/store/...tercooler.aspx

$350 for the Intercooler, but its out of stock...

http://www.synapseturbo.com/mm5/merc...e=intercoolers

the Synapse is $550 for example

when it comes to making a car fast for cheap, i'm pretty good at that... you might outrun me... now lets compare receipts, lol

though I didn't cheap out as much as I could on the Camaro, I could have got some chines sh*t headers for $500... but I got a Full Exhaust that was made in American instead... yeah I paid a little more for it, but don't blame me for the demise of this country, lol

If you want good and cheap just get the Injen like Adam said. If you are going for a more show look then get the Dejon which you can get powder coated any of the GM colors and it is under 250 now for the kit.

As far as intercoolers, ZZP is out of stock. I would go with either a MPx or a treadstone one tbh. Treadstone will probably be your best bang for buck. I know the guy I got my BNR kit from frogstofall has a good deal on a TR10 intercooler right now. Or you could get the TR8 from BNR ( bad news racing ) for like 280 I think.

Actually here is the link I think this is a hell of a good price.
Treadstone Performance 2008-2010 Cobalt SS Intercooler Kit

I got the Injen pipe with my BNR kit with a synapse bov. I hope to have my car back tomorrow.

Josh like adam and thrasher said. Injen would be the CP to use. and for the intercooler, Treadstone all the way.
If your not gonna go all out in power like me, just get you the TR8 or TR10 Beta kit.

Exactly, just get the Tr8 or Tr10 intercooler from Treadstone. And for charge pipes just get either the Injen or Dejon Upper ( hot ) charge pipe set. There is no real reason to replace your lower ( cold ) side pipe.

You should trade me the OZ's for my stock wheels before you trade the car in. They will give you a better deal if it has stock wheels on it.

2 things:
1. I feel like I got a good deal for a trade in, aside from the fact, that there really isn't such a thing as a good deal on trade in.
2. The service department was incapable of repairing the car properly.
