well I got some interesting news today, my brother is fairly sure I can use his Supplier discount on new GM cars, if so, I should be able to save thousands on a new one... he got a $63,000 Yukon in the $40,000s and paid $13,000 for his Cobalt that had a sticker of $17,000... so if I can in fact use the discount, just going to buy a new SS Camaro, will be able to get a new one for what the used ones are going for

FYI, The GM discount isn't as good as it was before they went bankrupt, we always use our GM discount for cars and its usually way better then rebates. But when we bought the HHR SS we got more off the rebate then the GM discount.

I still got my $28k HHR SS for $23k out the door though.

yeah its only about $900 on a SS Camaro, still, $1000 is $1000... and you can get that off, once you talk them down... that is the way to play that game, hold that card until the dealing is done... "oh yeah, I have the supplier discount"

because if they know you have it, well, you shot yourself in the foot

I told my fiancee I lost to a Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6. She saw what it looked liked, looked at me, and said, I feel sorry for you. You need a faster car. I took that as the thumbs up to save for upgrades

don't race a modded one unless you bring more millimeters to battle, like I said those cars are a little too chickish for me and i'm not a dodge guy, but there is no denying what they can do even on the stock blower... i'd love to see one with a stouter blower...

I do like turbos, but there is just something about blower whine that makes my dick hard, lol

nah Paul, you get used to blower whine...

and if I ever mention how easy my job is on some days, just remind me of the days like today when we are running 4" rigid conduit in 116 degree(heat index weather) using two JLG lifts(which requires identical movements on both operators part) about 50 ft in the air... not to mention our ground man is terrible at bending offsets, lol

for all the days we've shot the **** and had it easy for the most part, I worked about 4 days worth of work today in my 10 hours, I earned them their 40 from me

one more 10 hour shift tomorrow and then, i'm throwing the towel in for a week... heading to Florida for sun beer on the beach, Busch Gardens, etc.

Trip to Florida:

Almost killed by semi driver apparently falling asleep in Pell City: check

Almost taken out by a guy in a Honda Accord with a cat (yes a cat) on his face in Valdosta Georgia: Check
(Ok that one was hilarious, lol)... dude was fighting like I have never seen

Then about got into it with a ******* from Pennsylvania right when I got into Florida...finally made it safely

My dad was ready to beat the guy from Pennsylvania's ass, lol. I was driving in the left lane and he almost came over into my right side then he shook his fist at us like it was our fault. My mom probably saved that guy from an ass whipping and he doesn't even know it. And if it would have came to it we carry pistol permits, lol
