Congrats on the new ride 08inBama. Picking up my car today. GM replaced my turbo at 21K miles. 3 times within a month, the car would only boost up to 5 PSI at random times. GM tried to fix the issues the last 2 times. 3rd time, talked to the Service Manager and he said he'd have his shop foreman look at it. Shop foreman couldn't find anything wrong. He even asked if I would mind if he drove the car home one night and back to work the next day to see if anything would happen. Well, nothing happened, but he did notice that when the turbo is spooling over 20 PSI, that something sounded loose, so he went ahead and got the turbo replaced. I can't wait to get my car back. Been driving a 2012 Cruze 1LT for almost a week. Like I said before, I really hope this solves my spooling issues.

 

ya know......i really am the black sheep of this group, driving a honda and all lol....but its all good...after i get this frankenstein motor rebuilt and back in this car we need to have a track day....ill be spraying the hatch to start out with until i get all my turbo part's so it should make for some good time's :

On a different note:

The dealer gave me $18,630 for my car right and is selling it for $23k. What is funny is I only paid $23k for it out the door with the huge rebate and GM discount when I bought the SS.

But damn it if the SS didn't look bad ass sitting out in front of the dealer yesterday when we drove by.

Sold the BNR turbo for $920/shipped (going to put a ZZP EFR on the Regal)
Sold the SSR Type C RS wheels, custom aluminum spacers and gorilla locking lugs for $600

Got my new tune from Vince gonna be a gunnie pig I told Paul about but other then that it's hush hush till we get it all worked out and Vince gives it a green light

 

Yeah I have been thinking of going to a catlass dp, wanna see if I pick up any trap with it. As it sits right now my fastest trap is a 109 with just the sri / tune / catted dp. I wanna break the 110 mark, which I may now that I have been tuned for the sri and I got a boost increase and dialed in tune sure feels faster lol.

Oooo I'm jealous now, and I just got my new tune from Vince last week. Now I'm curious to see what you got . I need to get some charge pipes when I get money I had a guy offer to sell me a injen set for less than $100 but damn I am so broke at the moment .

I wouldn't mind getting HPTuners also that way I could have both the HPTuners and Trifecta Dealer box. Would be nice lol.

The BNR was a little different because the buyer contacted me and asked what I was going to do with it and how much I would take for it. He offered a good price imo so I took it.

JB, you need to buy my OTTP rotated stage 2 mounts (front and rear), front was on for less then 500 miles and rear never mounted. These will help with torque steer and traction
The front alone almost completely eliminated the torque steer I had. The mounts were a better mod then IC pipes or intake upgrade imo.

I gotta get some funds available first lol. I just got married and all that process from the marriage, honeymoon, plus moving to a new house stretched me thin.
