Yeah I messed up and got one of those damn resistors for my Eclipse a long time ago and yeah it hurt my motor. So I learned the hard way about those BS crap.

 

cool an informed person is always better to. all to...but yea the only "chips" are those resistors...I would check an make sure he didn't manage to install one just incase...if not your good to go...

 

Yeah I checked on that after that was brought up. It doesn't have anything like that. I got scared for a minute then a huge sigh of relief when I didn't find nothing...lol. I usually find out **** the hard way unfortunatly. I did that with my Eclipse when no one knew anything about it. Kind of like my Cry02. I have been using it since it came out on just about any car I get. I have yet to have any problems with the system. Just have to make sure everything is on tight and there are no leaks.

apparently someone with a Sport Red Tintcoat turbo SS is running at Huntsville drag strip some... some guys I know that go up there texted me last night asking if I was in Huntsville racing... and I told them I was drunk as **** watching the UFC, lol.... but the guy apparently can't drive worth a damn and i'm sure the **** over at HSVracing think its me(I have a history over there)... that'd be great if they do though, because then when one of them DOES run into me... well, it'll be a good day

we ALL need to go to steele one night!! i need to teach my wife how to launch in the slobalt and ive gotta put the hatch/altima on the track.....

im not expecting crazy number's from the hatch but a low 15 second pass would get me stoked! especially considering im not that great at power shifting (stupid b&m ss and its rejection of 3rd!)

I have to be up at 4:30 in the morning every morning now(except on Fridays and the Weekends, love them four 10s)... so Monday-Thursday i've usually turned in by 9:30

he has a G8 GT(Magnaflow catback, Rotofab CAI, VMS ECM/TCM tune, DT Tri-Y headers ---copied from his sig on another site, lol) and I think he and I would be a damn good race... he used to have a turbo Grand Prix that was fast as ****, went 11.6s in full weight... but he got married and sold that car... but he has since got the G8 and is back in the modding game, and if I know him... it won't be long before it too is fast as ****

his old GTP, I filmed some of that, like the 1st shot at 27 seconds, lol.... it ended up being faster than in that video, turns out through most of that footage, he had a pretty good boost leak.... once found, the car became a new beast, though it was running 11s WITH the boost leak... highest dyno in that video was 375ish, he put down 420 later and almost 500 ft.-lbs, so you can see how much hampered the car was

yeah that just started about 3 weeks ago.... I went from 7 days a week of 3rds........to four days of 10 hour shifts of day shift.... awesome trade

the thing is, its going to be hard to find someone wanting a turbo that big... it'd be a track monster if you could get your car to hook off the line... but on the highway, would be the suck until it hit boost......but at that point, well, in my car i'd spin to about 75ish, lol
