A bit off topic, I saw a black HHR SS yesterday with a 'helping schools' license plate pull into Calhoun Community College in Huntsville around 17:15 yesterday I doubt he's on this forum. Just thought I'd post to see if any body knows who it is.

Melvin, how many miles you have on the car? I have 10,300 miles on my car and my tires about 50% worn.

Good tires, they were rated high for performance to price ratio, but just know they are a summer tire only, meaning the compound will get harder in the winter and ride rougher with less traction.

Hmm... I take it the stock Conti's will do the same? If that's the case, perhaps I need to get some new rubber...

YO what's up! I'm in Huntsville, AL, and just got me a 2007 Cobalt SS/SC. Love it. I do got one question in here tho? Anyone got problems with people that have sponsored cars? I am sponsored with Design Engineering INC. right now. I have the Cry02 set up complete with intake sprayer, fuel bar and 2 dual set purge valves. I got heat wraps for my exhaust, spark plug wires, intake and battery. I haven't got to install anything yet cause I am always working. I'm a tattoo artist in Huntsville so the hours are crappy.

kool. I used to drive to Muscle Shoals all the time. I used to be with a car club called Fa Sho. Me and a few other guys would go out there to one's house and work on our cars all day then I worked 3rd shift so I would stay up 4 days at a time then crash all day on the 5th...lol. He used to have a red Chevy Impala with body kit, rims and all the works. I also have Spec Clutches in south Alabama as a sponsor. Just have to get the money up to order parts. Only got a partial Sponsorship with them. If anyone is interested let me know and I can get you hooked up with either one of them.

no prob. Anyone here going to Import Face Off in Montgomery, AL? It's Nov. 7th. For more info here is the link [link]http://www.importfaceoff.net/montgomery2.htm[/link] I will be there to run the Balt a few times so I can get slips on the 1/4mile. Got to run it once without the Cry02 kit and then again with it to hush up some haters cause as we all know, slips tell no lies .

that Guy is stupid and you are smart for not believing that BS...the only "chips" for these cars are 10˘ resistors some Guy made look Betty and sold for $25...they do harm and you should check and make sure that idiot didn't install one of these...it should be wired to the MAF sensor...if there is one then you will never get a tune right.. need to have a good base for a good tune...

Honda's have to swap to a relashed computer or reflash them ourselves just like the balts...
