My buddy bought it! lol. He just had to own one better then mine...lol. He came by the shop last night and took me for a ride. I had to show him how to work the launch control and about the NLS on that car. The interior is just awsome. I told him I wanted the rims cause I'm not big on chrome and he wants my chrome rims...so I think I see a trade going on in the future. We will be in the Christmas parade this year under our tattoo shop so watch for it.. I'll be the one purging C02...lol. Btw you seen me Saturday right? My grandma lives out there in Elkmont and I had to pick my dad up from there. That was early as **** in the AM too...lol. Either that or Thanksgiving day. We all going to have to get together and just ride out one Saturday! Roll up to the street races or some thing ...lol. That would be awsome!

hey Josh about dropping boost... I too am down to 20psi... as I said, more than normal for turbo cars when the boost is controlled through the ECM

Yeah I told him. He is broke right now. He wants to do it but I think he wants to get a few parts first. His Cobalt has upgraded turbo and if I'm not mistaken it has a K&N intake system..I might have the brand wrong. He was told it has been upgraded but I haven't had a chance to really look more into it. I'm still new with the turbo model. Only thing I really know about them is the launch control and the NLS and they push more HP then the S/C models..lol. To be honest I really like his better, looks and performance..lol. I want his rims badly...lol.

don't know. We haven't had a chance to really look into the car heavy yet. I do know it is insane. We was in 3rd gear and he just floored it and it started to spin tires. He did find out 2nd gear is crazy...lol. But we will look more into it when we can get our schedules together.

no they call GMS1 a "turbo upgrade"

so his car is 290hp(at the crank)/290 ft.-lbs instead of 260hp(at the crank)/260 ft.-lbs like it was stock...... but with a real tune, he'd be 300hp(at the wheels)/340 ft-lbs., lol

He was told 24 psi. They told him all this at the dealership. I told him it looked stock to me but I don't know much about them to really tell. He was told that is was installed by the dealer that was why it was so clean and had all the heat shielding around and on it.

 

Hey any of you know who Ross Wyner is on facebook? He gets on my facebook page talking a bunch of **** and doesn't even know what the hell I have on my car. I posted a video of me purging my Cry02 system up and he jumps in talking ****. Ok one thing that went wrong is one of my purge tubes got loose and turned down and I didn't notice it till he actually mentioned it. Then wants to figure out how and why I mounted an I/C sprayer on my intake and how I don't know what I'm doing ..blah blah blah. Even after I tell his ass It's the intake system but then keeps on. So I finally have to pull up the web site and show a pic and the directions to where it stats to mount this in your intake pipe. I mean for real man do your research before talking **** to someone who has been using this system for 4 years now on 3 different cars. So I think I know what I'm talking about considering I have talked and have been walked threw everything about this system from DEI Tech support. Granted it doesn't give and real noticible gains like most power adders do but I'm not in this to make big gains I want to tweek and have my car running better then average, not full out nitrous blown motor. I am sorry for my rant guys but it's people like this that just get under my skin. I mean seriously how many times have I been asking questions on here trying to learn as much as I can about my car? I didn't know jack **** about this car till I got on here. I never claim to know everything but when it comes to products I have been using and installing for over 4 years I do believe I know what I'm talking about. what gets me is I get called a "nub" cause I don't know much about my car that I've had for like 3 months or so. Ok I'll stop sorry pepz just had to get that off my chest about how ignorant some people really are.

 

It has a boost gauge tell him redline in 2-3rd lol. And if that dealer did an aftermarket turbo and will warranty the work I want one

when I was getting my car back from the dealer they told me "you know, they have the turbo upgrades for these now"... and I told them I wasn't interested..........because little did they know my spare ECM with the trifecta tune was at home in my closet, lol
