1.) stay single, which sucks for your sex life, lol

2.) try to find a better job, best option, but not easy... especially right now

3.) sell drugs, get a felony, never get another chance at option 2

nothing... I am a 2nd year apprentice electrician with IBEW Local 558... but I do have an associates in business, which I plan on using along with my certification through the NJATC to help land a job in the field...

or hit the road and still make good money


if you're going to go to school, make sure you go for something you can actually use... I know A LOT of graduates still in the job pool because they went for something that is useless in this state...


if I had it to do all over again, i'd have went into the medical field, even a male nurse can make REALLY good money, do the 4 years to be a nurse, go 2 more years to become an Anesthesiologist, as a male, you'll make as much as a lot of doctors without the burden of constantly being on call

though it is a difficult program, to even get into nursing school you pretty much need a 3.5+ G.P.A.

 

Well the guy who does what your going to school for at my work makes 27.50 an hour that's why I asked might be worth looking into. Just saying. I'm going to go back soon to be a robot tech. Honda starts at 36 Mercedes 50 my work 24.50-27.00. So I feel like it's something I wanna do plus I see the guys all the time talk to them and they seem to enjoy it and are willing to teach me as much as I want to learn

 

yea, if you can land a maintenance job, being an electrician is an excellent field to go into... i'll have a leg up on most with my college degree... and I got some pull at a few places... so i'm optimistic... but I am considering going on the road the 1st two years regardless, me and another apprentice have talked about it, if you have someone you're cool to travel with, its not a bad gig(unless you have a family), make good money... no ties to where you're working... not a bad deal

everyone was going to Vegas, but the work out there dried up(like everywhere else) in the Recession, but by the time we get out, it may be back booming there... Houston, Tx. is another place they are predicting will be a hot spot for work for travelers in a couple of years

some basic maintenance techs make damn good money, my brother makes $34/hr, and at places like ULA, 3M, etc., they make right at $30/hr... and usually, you can get a lot of OT in those positions, so the base salary doesn't mean much(though $30/hr is still $60,000/yr, give me a permanent job here making that, i'd be content)... my brother gets A LOT of OT where he works(Brown's Ferry with TVA, he just got on annual there about 2 years ago) and makes bank because of it... he is on 2nd shift, but once again, i'd be content with that for that kind of money, you can always get off of it with seniority later

ugh i got wasted last night

 

wasted? the word we're going with is destroyed

 

well i destroyed my liver thats for sure haha.

 

we went to a Mexican restaurant 1st, I drank like 3 beers and about 4 margaritas... my sister-in-law got a pitcher and wimped out halfway through it, so I ended up finishing it off... then we all went to a place called the Sandbar that was packed out... it always is but last night it was terrible... so we stayed there until about 11:00 and then went bowling... that is where I met my demise... I was doing pretty well until then, but you're supposed to have a pattern:

you know its ok to go from liquor to beer... my night was beer, liquor, beer, liquor... but I was still fine, until I drank 3 glasses of Champagne, and I was so drunk, at the time it didn't even taste terrible...

but this morning, it kicked my ass... literally, I never puked, I wish I would have... I gave new meaning to the word beer *****, lol

its so bad i'm about to leave and go to another party tonight and I don't even want to smell alcohol, most definitely won't be consuming any... i'm in recovery mode

 

I bought a 6 pack. Drank 2. Then went to sleep. It was mine and Gf 1 yr. Tonight we got into another fight about the Christmas thing. She thinks I'm an idiot cause of how I'm acting. Her mother didn't help any

 

dude you ever see that video where that chick is throwing a fit over the bracelet or watch, as she is opening the door and and there is a brand new suv in the driveway. then she changes her tune, goes out to the car and starts it and BOOOMM! The husband grins and goes back in the house...lol. classic I tell ya.
