i'm at the cross roads... as far as I want to take the stock turbo... now deciding, do I throw a bigger turbo on it, or buy something else to build... as in just to be fast, daily driving capabilities do not matter
if I build the Cobalt, i've got to buy a cheap vehicle to carry me to work, want a 4-cylinder 5-speed S10... I don't want a 400hp car to be my only means of transportation at the same time, i could keep the Cobalt.... buy a Camaro(i know you guys love to hear that, lol) and build it...
i'm wanting to get a 3rd gen(v8 car) and put a modern fuel injected SBC into it... they weigh less than the 4th gens(which most people don't realize), can fit a wider rim on the back than a 4th gen, have MUCH more room in the engine bay to work on them... they have the ever so shitty 700-r and the 10-bolt rear end... but i'm going to try to find a Ls1 or LS2 with a t-56 and then throw in a ford 9" for the rear end.... though i'll lose the ABS, I hope to never need anti-lock brakes in 1320ft, lol
I wanted to do something really cool that I have NEVER seen done before, but I can't find the car I want that isn't rusted out... i've been looking, they weren't popular by any means, but my idea would be really cool I think...

^ that, though i'd replace the hideous body trim, wheels... and it wouldn't be that color... but that car weighs 2700lbs... with some modern SBC power, it'd be the 240SX killer
and i'm still searching... you can find old Sunbirds a dime a dozen, just not the hatches, they were rare... and the Formula GTs, well, I haven't found one yet
i'm about to join some forums(yes there is a following for the H-bodies, lol) and go from there...

^ that is a monza, but is the exact same platform and may end up being what i buy as they are much more common... and that is a little over the top, could do without the big ass slicks, roll cage, and cowl hood... I want it fast, but a street car
I too like a nice hp/weight ratio... but **** a Nissan, lol.... what is holding me back is I've seen the Monza build done before, its not near as unique as the Sunbird would be... Pontiac just didn't sell enough of the hatches, everyone wanted the Monza that were into those cars, lol
my brother was saying it'd be cool to get the LNF out of a Sky Redline or Solstice GXP(for the transmission due to being RWD) but for the money associated with that swap, I could have SBC pushing A LOT more hp

NOOO!!!!! i need to stay stock! i have an 01 silverado as my toy and really enjoy driving this car. its fairly fast, handles well, AND is reliable! dont give me the sickness on another car lol
its called trifecta performance. i can hide it in 2 spots the cruze control or the comp button. it will move the boost up from 15 to 22-25 or infinaboost just depends on what you want. but its a good 30hp gain or so over stock
