damn, if it is in knoxville will everyone go. it really wont be in knoxville per say so (i cant remember the name) we wont be around any homeless people

knoxville is about 4 hours from me lol. there is no way i'm going that far.

franklin is 10 minutes south of nashville. its a really nice, rich people town lol. there is a mall right off the interstate where we can all meet, and tons of nice restaurants if we wanted to eat. thats where most of the car meets i have gone to have been.

murfreesboro off medical center blvd is a nice area to have a car meet also. same layout as franklin. new mall, nice restaurants etc.

 

Well how about in the middle of nashville and knoxville we could do cookville or crossville, theres gotta be someone on here that lives there

 

sounds good to me cause it would be 3-4 hours rather than 6-7 hours. Anyway it's time for me to get ready to go to the Nationwide race at Memphis Motorsports Park today. see y'all later

 

3 a year sounds pretty good to me. esp. the ones in k town and nashvegas. i don't know my way around memphis to well

 

It's really not that hard to do I mean from almost everywhere in memphis you are within ten minutes of either poplar (the main road in memphis) or the interstate. either way we'd stay in a less confusing, less ghetto part of town. anyway, back on topic:

it just seemed like everyone didn't feel comfortable with driving that far. idky but whatever. now we just need to find someone who lives somewhere in cookville area who knows of stuff to do.

i'm familiar with cookeville i used to live the exit before the cookeville one. theres tons of places to eat, and just park thats about it though. LOL

 

you guys really want to drive that far to meet? cookeville is 2 hours from me and thats too far haha. its probably because i have made that trip so many times and its horrible.

 

come on man, you gotta give a little to get a little. You weren't going to go to Knoxville cause it was to far but half way for everybody in Nashville and Knoxville is not that bad. the only ones getting screwed are the guys from Memphis.

 

Yep yep and i would still come if i could convince someone to ride with me. You gotta admit thats a long ass drive just you and the radio.

 

well, lets start thinking of a time and place. I also have some friends that live in memphis if you dont wanna ride solo

 

ok so it appears that there is more to do in Cookeville just by shear size and i did some arbitrary Yellowpages searches and there is more variety in food and such in Cookeville just because it's larger and has more businesses. Idk what the town is or where a good place to meet is but as far as Crossville vs. Cookeville it looks like Cookeville is the better choice.

 

ok, that sounds good. i will still have a couple of ppl still come with me.

 

so anyone decide yet lol?? let me know and if anyone has not mad a thread yet. bigmac lol why dont we just have it at a white castle haha i will start a thread when everything is figured up, like last time met in nashville 20 cars showed and it was a good turn out, ill show the map of it if i can get it but went from there to I-65 south towards franklin cool springs mall took pictures there hung out at the mall, then went to burgers & cream food joint and they have a car show there on saturday nights, then after beng there about 8:30 left to get back on I-65 then 840 towards knoxville went to EOR in murfeesboro another car meet they have on saturday nights. Everyone seem to enjoy it and had fun doing so.
