only a darker blue, pics will come shortly as soon as i get time during the day, maybe this weekend. and for those who have 2.2 cobalt's out there, i will be parting out my cobalt pretty soon, parts that are up for grabs will be:
Triple Gauge Pillar Pod
Eibach Sportlines
2.4 Manifold Kit (w/o adapter plate for 05/06 models)
Maybe if i'm willing-- SS/SC Red/Black Leather Seats
(when i finish this project) Victory Red high gloss dash trim **for exchange for stock trim
And if anybody with a Victory Red car wants a high wing, then i'll swap wings for a low rise, or trunks for a wingless
So i will keep you guys posted for when i do finally get around to converting the Cobalt back to Stock!
not if i get them first!!! lol. i want sportlines too!!! first come first serve, and you were first. damnit. lol.
dude how is that highrise wing coming? your back in NC now right?
sweet dude. so how much for the 3 gauage pod, and the sport lines? even though beamer already asked.
I love the car, it handles better than my Cobalt does, and shifts smoother too. It's quite quick right now as only being stock, but one of the first things i plan on doing is putting on a K04 Kit and raising the stock hp from 180 to about 245 (for those who don't know, the K04 kit is a larger turbo, a P-Chip for programming, and new spark plugs) and adding a FMIC and turbo back exhaust. Should be a nice start. Oh, it's not the GTI with the honeycomb grill, it's the old body style like this one:

Highrise is on the backburner for now. need to get some money together since I just took a week off work. But tommorow im gonna put foglights in and tint tail lights. Should be interesting. Tried to do fogs today but didnt know how to get stock bulbs out. Took headlights out and everything, but then I got to looking at the fog light housing and started scratching my head. then just said screw it, do it tommorow.
Yea i took them out real easy and lights come out like a breez. Thanks for that info, like that helped ALOT. But once I got to the foglights I looked at this
and I didnt know how to remove bulb. Plus on the driver side it was a tight fit to get back there.

looks like you twist the end, just like you would for any other bulb. did that not work?
u mean the little square piece on the end?
I didnt actually truy that sicne its not a pic of my car but on the fog light thread. It was alot harder to see down there on my car and alot colder out. Ill do it tommorow. But once I got there I saw that metal post sticking out and i was like...ummm. Anyways ill play more tommorow.

yea that lil square peice. try twisting that, im sure it will come out. theres no other way to get the bulb out, in a senseable manner anyways. lol. shouldnt take long to do. what should take you the longest should be to get the headlights out and in. i am not for sure but it seems pretty simple. and i know what you mean about the cold.i almost did my headlights, but i was wayyy to cold. lol. i said **** it.
true dat. lol. that will look good. blah i want a system in my car but dont wanna add alot of weight. i was thinking of taking out the spare and build a box to fit down there... blah idk. suggestions?
Lets see,
i paid 300 for the Sportlines, they have about 8k on them, but that is over the course of a year, so once i take them off, i'll take 175+ Shipping
triple gauge i'll take 25+Shipping for, but i have to order a stock A pillar first before i can take that off
the seats i'll take 300 no shipping for and that is for front, back, and back headrests
of course in lieu of shipping, they are available for local pickup, and if you are close enough, i'll meet you somewhere
but keep in mind, this is stuff that is still on the car and i have to start on the conversion back to stock, meaning i'll need a bit of time to do all of this.

For casey,
absolutely. Ud just turn it facing up. It would actually be really cool and creative. Id say go for it man. U just need to get measurments and get it custom made.

I'm in Sanford/Fayetteville, but i'll be willing to go as far as Rockingham since that is pretty much in the middle, i can do the gauge pod this weekend (sunday, i work saturdays), i still have my stock one (though it has a hole in in from where i drilled to hide the wires) but that can stay in place until i order the new one.
