Maybe i'll take the GTI there, should be able to get mid to high 14's. Until i put a bigger turbo on and get an exhaust

hopefully i can have my BOV installed and have it chipped before then. If i can get that extra 5-6psi then i'll be good. Right now it's holding 11psi with high boost of 15psi, max boost in 1st gear is 5psi (stock programming to prevent too much wheel spin), but after it's chipped and a BOV installed (the stock diverter valve has only an 8.8 pound spring and isn't very good), then i should be able to hold steady 17psi with high boost around 20psi. Good for about 20hp, maybe 25/30hp on race gas. As it stands (as rated stock) the 0-60 is 6.5sec, 1/4mile right around 14.5-15.3 depending on driver.

yea, do what ya can when ya can like everyone right. Low boost in first in nice though, I had mine tuned to like 40%, eventually want to get better tires to up in but as it is now its worthless, no such thing as getting on it in first to get across traffic, just spin'o'rama, almost go tboned this morning cause of that and I was not giving it hell(being cold out doesn't at all haha).

 

^Makes sense about boost in 1st. 1st only gets ya to like 25 miles an hour anyways. If you could launch in 2nd think of those possibilities. Ud be at 60 b4 shiftin

 

I have launched at 2nd before, totally got retarded and forgot to go to first, its alright w/ it aslong as you know its in second and give it the approciate amount of gas but its not going to help your times in racing haha. I remember watching Top Gear(greatest car show bar none) and they showed a vette, put it in 5th or 6th and took it all the way to 160 from 0, as Mr. Clarkson said "in one gear! ONE!" haha

i haven't pushed the GTI to redline yet (6700 redline is pretty good), but so far, my 1st goes to about 35 (that i noticed), and i don't know about 2nd, but i got up to 80 in second before i got nervous about cops and it still had room....so i don't know....

but holy compressor surge batman! (in 1st that is)

 

Nah man I like the 2 tone look personally. With the pinstripe and tails it comes together nice. Only thing i want to paint is the endcaps on it.

ok so th wing grew on me. just the side inserts will be just right. it will be badass when you drop it, get some tint, and some black rims.

btw... what warrenty do you have? bumper to bumper 3 year 36k, and powertrain 5 year ?k?

nah bryce, do not need to be 21. was referring to car gatherings and such but I guess the weather has the club dudes and everyone hiding out, of course we all have lives besides car stuff but, DAMN, car stuff is fun.

 

yea i can see that lol but the most fun thing ive found to do would be dave and busters but i dont want to go with just my roommate because he can barely pay rent so i know he cant go and have fun.

i was gunna go while i was there but the best carts were down for winter cleaning and what not. so i played mini golf instead. it would be cool to get some people together and go do something down there
