I understand that, but its not commonly refered toas alcohol, its commonly known as meth. Case in point, the OP got it after he realized it was "Meth"

as hard as it is to take off all the parts.

Grab the vin, and go down to a local dealer and have them run it, make sure its not red flagged or any odd service done to it if your really worried, or maybe someone with dealerwolrd here can run it for you.

Just noticed this car pop up on ebay. I wouldn't even consider the car without talking with the previous owner. Who knows what the hell was done to it or taken off.

rigged with a boost controller. has an aftermarket wideband even though it has a wideband already from factory. just looks like the person didn't know much about the car and did the old school turbo stuff. i bet you that turbo surges like no other

blazin how far are you from that dealer?

i wish i had someone knowledgeable to look at it. i know the essentials of turbo cars but i cant diagnose turbo surge or if its running lean or misfiring. ive been looking for a ss/tc to buy for over a month now with no luck and im getting tired of not having a car!

Do a pull in 3rd and 4th starting at like 2,000 rpm to help test for clutch slip. Watch the boost guage to see what psi it is running and if the guage flutters. Like it spikes to ?? and holds ??. Meth and a manual boost controller is a red flag for high boost.

alright ill watch the boost gauge like a hawk and test for clutch slip. anything else to check for to see if all was done right? if everything was built and tuned right, this would be a really fun ride. im counting on you guys to determine whether i should buy it.

its sunday tho, autotrader said the car was no longer listed so i couldnt tell if its a dealer or private seller, but dealerships are closed on sundays, unless florida is different than illinois wen it comes to those type of things.
