I am thinking about taking my car to ammco to get my transmission fixed. I never been there before to have them fix anything. Are the reliable enough to let them rebuild my transmission?

 

I DO NOT trust Ammco. Most shops will try and sell you minor stuff when you get something done like air filter, replacing fluids, etc. but Ammco trys to sell you major stuff. For example, my friend brought in his 3g eclipse cause clutch was slipping. They told him the slave cylinder, master cylinder, clutch assembly, and something else was bad and they all needed to be replaced. Got a second opinion and it was only the clutch that was bad...maybe it was just this shop but I would make sure they do not try and sell you extra stuff with a high price tag
