So the hole in my block for the oil return line is fucked again. It's quite literally dumping oil at this point... Don't know what I'm going to do at this point. Ideas? Might have to drill a bigger hole, Kinda worried if it goes wrong I will need another block though.
Ok cool. You numbers are going to be low, but if you have somewhere in the area of 100 you should be alright. Mine were 100 across the board when I first built my motor.

Yeah had to drill a hole for the return line..
It's got a AN fitting. I suppose it could potentially be welded... IDK how you would get all the way around it because of where it's at though.

DOes anyone need a Gen 2 shortblock without pistons? This thing might just ending up taking space in my garage. I will put some pics up when I take it home. PSI is rescuing my car from O'Rap'ees today.
Well IDK if it has to be atleast 100 I was just giving you what my numbers were on a non-started recently built motor.
O ok I get it now
The Gen II is the stronger block that does not require sleeving correct? The one your referring to is the block that came out of your car correct?
Also the guy with the 135i said he will come up and race you.
So i traded my Steegy ported and polished blower for a stock one, and some cash. The advantage to me by doing this is i finally have the cash to get the other stuff i need. I would like to find it all local. I need a H/E pump and harness still, and a bypass valve actuator. Anyone have either of these?
The block is fine, and the Sleeves looked perfect. (Dealer was trying to **** me over) There was only a nano meter of a surface abrasion from the removal of the melted piston. I will take some very high res pics when I get it back. Otherwise, I will be doing the build on it. and keeping the motor as a spare.
