Just sent my advisor my first draft of my thesis. It is only 140 pages right now, and I'm sure there will be plenty of edits coming my way in the next couple weeks, but on the plus side it seems that working 40+ straight days of 14hrs/day is paying off

I figured it was going to need more. Check it over the next few days to be sure its all the way full. It sometimes takes a long time to get all the bubbles out.

what a pita my car is being. right now it idles kindve funny until it warms up then everything runs fine and for some reason it dosnt want to boost more than 16psi. term has it commanding a lot more. and the last log it showed it was only flowing 23 ve lbs/min term and i thought it would be flowing more

When someone else switched turbos didnt they have an issue with it not boosting over a certain amount? It was an LNF guy...

Does he know why the VE and MAF airflow was so drastically different? I thought MAF was the closest to correct and the VE is more calculated..

VE and MAF are both calculated values but his car is flowing about the same as the stock turbo at 15 psi right now. Not sure why yet. If the compression and leakdown test comes back good then we have to see if the wg is being a bastard because I am commanding 28 psi and 100% wg dc and it is seeing 100% wg dc and desired boost is pegged but the boost will not go above 16 psi.

I think it might be the wastegate might need a stronger spring or maybe ditching the boost solenoid and going with a mbc we will see after the compression test

Might be a weak wg spring. Do you have a heavier spring just in case assuming the compression test comes back good?

im posting just for you Nick. You didnt plug the 3rd port on your factory boost controller did you?If so that needs to vent to atmosphere.Tglems capped his and his was doing the same.It boosted normal a bunch of times then all a sudden it wouldnt go over 15-16 pounds.

I am guessing that is partly from the PCV leaking. Also his car shot smoke out in shift, I am guessing from not enough crank case venting.

I was there to see it. In the end it worked out because I found two leaks that I plugged while trying to figure out what went wrong before figuring it out and everyone telling me that Steve had told me that weeks ago. I'm a dumbshit :-)
