So the cobalt is throwing some codes: 2135, and 1681. It only does this in the morning when I am warming it up, never any other time. Did some research, and I am looking at replacing the pcm, or the throttle body. I know the tb is clean, was cleaned a couple months ago.....any thoughts where I should start??

What size injectors? Typically youll see random misfire happen when you have larger injectors.

Mine was doing that, then it went to a 0301 cylinder one. Valves were burnt, and all busted.

HAHA yah I took that thing off and left it off. Get some socket head cap screws and be done with those. Also replace fuel filter if not done.

I would check each coil pack closely. My wife's Fit had a coil pack issue and it would misfire and stutter constantly. When I pulled the coils, one of them was actually cracked. Didn't catch it until the 2nd time around after I had put some dielectric grease on them. The grease on the bad coil had gone from clear to brown. A somewhat common issue with Fits, but doesn't mean it can't happen elsewhere.

Figure if the plug is fine, then something else could be causing it not to fire properly. Good luck!

You can check the coil by moving it to another cylinder and seeing if the misfire changes cylinders...if it does...boom....found a bad coil. If it turns out to be a coil I have 4 laying around with only 16k miles on them....
