whats up everyone? just wanted to announce that ill be moving to the phoenix area here in a couple months. my cobalt might be coming with if i dont get rid of it. does anyone in the area replace these motors? i cant do it cause the place ill be staying at is apartments. if not, ill have to just leave it behind in cali and have someone out here do the work and me fly back to cali and drive it back to phoenix. thanks. but come october 5th, if anyone in phoenix, mesa or tucson area sees a loud ass red srt4 with delaware plates that says "YUNOWIN", feel free to say whats up lol

 

Welcome! I have a garage and weekends off so I'm always down to help, but I've never pulled a motor so you may need to round up a few folks.

 

thank you. and that works for me lol. ive never pulled this motor before as well. ive done a couple 240s and hondas, and pulled the trans out of my srt lol. furthest ive got on the cobalt was pulling the head off a few times. i had the engine built but i was deployed and had my friend do it for me.

I'd be willing to lend a hand... I have my own garage and everything now so I'm all down for helping out. Gotta say that it would be very helpful to have someone who's done this a few times before and who has all the tools and equipment needed. I've helped out a couple before, but experience with this stuff always makes sure you dont lose or break anything. lol

ordered new headgasket,lifters,rocker arms,valve seals and other misc "stuff" from ZZP.gonna rip the motor apart as soon as the "stuff" gets here.Gonna show her lots of love with a few unmentioned goodies.Gonna be great once the outside temps drop and feel the true potential.
