Got the turbo installed this weekend but am having issues getting the down pipe installed.
Just doesn't seem to line up to the wastegate like it did with the first version exhaust manifold

We'll see what happens tonight, if its not tooo windy.

Yeah, I haven't seen you around yet either. Although, I admittedly hadn't really been paying attention to Cobalts or HHRs until recently.

I'm looking at a lokar floor shifter. But it'll come in time. I need to clean my block to. Bunch of dirt and oil. Also need a new filter.

just reminded me I wanted to get an air filter and forgot...only got the oil change stuff...doing the brakes on the ss now...then oil change on the little truck I actually like that thing probably cause it's a manual...oh and the old car/oil/gasoline smell reminds me of when I was a kid riding around in my grandpa's '64 f350...

Yea man that smell is one of a kind. I've been wanting to work on my truck for awhile now, but it seems like I don't have time and money to put in it. I put a 700r-4 trans in about two years ago. After that its just been sitting. It's bad that I don't show any love to her. Maybe I should put more money into it but well see. I also want to bag. Found a kit that's affordable.

Then why do all old cars smell the same way?

actually the g5 does look like a gto...back in '07 I was looking at a 6.0 and was thinking about getting a used g5 on the side eventually as a dd and make it into a baby gto...but I made the mistake of driving a solgxp and that made me hessitate. I was unsure of what I wanted and couldn't decide on either...I also drove a SS/SC but didn't like the way it felt something was off...same for an '04 STI...a year later I drove my car and fell for it hard after driving a CSRT4 that almost got on 2 wheels when hitting the gas on a slight uphill turn...4 doors x sweet motor from the solgxp + awesome handling for a fwd / 28 to 35mpg = best car ever made by GM... so I had to get it lol

hey laser there you go, I managed to make another story just for you hahaha....

that thing is so cool
beater S15 project is running pretty good now, so far here's how how much it has set me back:
truck $500
fuel problem $1.30 (fuel hose)
spark plugs...-$10.00 (there was 4 new ones in the glove compartment)
front shocks $50.00
air filter $8.00
oil filter $5.00
oil $15.00
ignition decode + 2 keys $30.00...(didn't really needed, but no one could make me a good key out of the worn out original so I said **** it...I hate not having spare keys)

if you ask the wife it's a waste of $600, but working on a car and seeing/feeling how much it has improved and feeling like you have accomplished something...priceless ...

oh and beer!!!...usually can be found at $18.00 for a 24 pack...but it's also priceless and a waste if you ask the wife lol

oh noes 2 stories in one night laser gonna be pizzzedt!!!
