so today I went running, and the guy in my squadron that has the burnt orange sc, with the gunmetal/polished lip wheels was there to run to, seemed like a cool guy, I mentioned the site and he's heard of it, I told him we meet sometimes and he should get in here to find out when we do, he said he's got a stage 2, and a couple other mods, but was looking for more, and I told him this would be the place to find ideas on what to mod next

do any of you guys have a stock downpipe, ive had a nasty exaust leak and come to find out that my flex pipe on the down pipe is cracked all the way around it.... so sad. buton another note i bought a 09 yamaha r6

that tearing flex pipe seems to be a real issue on the sc, had it happen to both mine but i went to a local muffler shop, he welded a new one right on there, good ta go

 

Well i got a new one welded on but the damn welds tore right aay.... probably too much back pressure?? I dont know but im gonna look into a aftermarket dp header combo

So my buddy just bought an SS/SC, I had mentioned it earlier, but it has a ZZP 2.8 pulley and hes only boostin 11lbs...is that right for our elevation?

also make sure he isnt having the belt slipping...stage 2 belt or different tensioner

 

Sooooo I got's new tires and am looking at new rear pads and rotors. I'm thinking... TRACK DAY/MEET also we can poke Cav into doing some tunes at the same time. I can get off either the 16th or 23rd of july. Those are the next open nights for the track and the next days I can put in for time off. Lets get this thing rolling!
