Hey gang. What'd up Harrison. Sorry I missed ya last Friday night at Cruisers. The wife just got out of the hospital so life's been hectic. Things are good now.

I'd love to help ya plan a meet. I just skimmed this thread so I apologize if something is already set in stone.

I actually did a test run thru a nice lil' course in Malibu and want to plan a fun run. Perhaps next month or what not. Ever hear of Latigo Canyon? Its real nice.

*Roll out to Muholland
*Left on Kanan
*Quick left on Latigo
*Then Perhaps lunch at Neptunes.
*Then perhaps a cruise to Santa Monica Pier. If we are there into the evening - a bonfire on the beach. Dunno...

yo daniel....we did that run couple months back, seems like people want to go to YOrba. My only issue with meet and greet BBQ's is that no one brings food (so one or two people wind up spending there money), then no one wants to cook. On the other hand people might not have money to sit down at a restaurant.

However I was in the canyon saturday and the Sheriff's were patroling like crazy, so maybe Yorba would be good for the moment?

did you start a new thread man? set the place, make sure the date is LATE june, and i will show.

 

not sure yet, want to get a general idea of the date. However DAniel from GME just informed me of a all GM show on June 28th...we should just make the meet there, but it's a 20-25 reg. fee so that's probably a fail. But I went last year, its a cool show.

 

i would be down, i'm sure the numbers would grow that way, and 20-25 bucks isn't so bad. I'll be there.

 

Ya and I'm pretty sure the organizers allow you to set up the BBQ's and cook, I think GME did that last year? Is the correct Daniel? If so that would be sick!!!

 

Im down for another Malibu cruise. Last one was pretty cool.

dam we keep going back and forth haha....well let's see how many people want to attend the all GM car show. However it's not a cruise and from 10-3 have to be parked so kinda lame for people that want to cruise the canyons.

k the show would be cool. shjow them that gm has nice 4 cylinders and we could just cruise after.lol. But I say we go as a group. socal ecotecs maybe?as for the bbq we have done 1 b4 and everyone brought what they said theyd bring and we had people willijng to cook

 

Damn with all you guys plan and what not, I can't wait to come out here in a year. I'm just visiting and understand if you guys have something set in stone. I just wanted to see other Cobalts cause I don't see that in Hawaii nor do I jave a group to hang with.

 

anyone opposed to doing this meet May 31? then those who want to go to the GM show can do so in June. I would say let's just all go to the show in June but it is a $25 reg. fee, and you'd have to be there from like 7:30 am to 3pm, and I know some people don't have that kinda time.
