got a friend who works at Group 5 Motor Sports. They are a good shop for something like that.

please tell me im wrong, but 4 local chevy dealerships near me (Long Island, NY) told me in order to not void your warranty, you have to have it installed and flashed by GM
after reading up on stage 2 whrn i first got my car and all the confusion regarding install price/time, i called GM and if i remember correctly GM rates this as a 3 1/2 hr job, depending where you live the labor rate might change slightly. NY is $95 (last time i checked) making install by me ~$350 plus parts.
looks like @ $516 they are trying to pull one on you. call GM and have them tell you the official install time they have listed for stage 2, then you're prepared to tell your dealer they're full of **** when they try and get more $$ from you.
confirmation on the affect of a non-GM-installed stage 2 on our warranties from the more knowledgable would be helpful, tia.
