the caption says it all, its a can used for the storage of ammunition. you have never seen any of the green metal cans in ,say, a surplus store??? i could post an image for you this evening.

 

ahhhh i gotcha. i think of them more of ammunition boxes not cans. my bad. i got ya now.

 

lol, well if they were wood they would be boxes..but atleast we are on the same page now.
